Paddlemaster

Andrew Rudge Kayaking (or AR Kayaking for short) has been trading since 2008. While Andrew has been paddling the rivers of Britain and Europe for much longer.

We would like to share with you our vision of how being on the water can help you explore new environments and provide you with an exciting form of exercise.

We can teach you to paddle kayaks, canoes and SUP boards. If you don't know the difference, then let us help you discover the possibilities.

Andrew is a qualified Hill and Moorland Leader with over 30 years teaching experience. For 26 years he worked in Special Educational Needs, teaching science and outdoor education. He is a British Canoeing Level 3 White Water Coach and PADI Divemaster. Andrew has extensive experience in the mountains and hills of the UK and is now extending his experience to the mountains of Spain.

At busy times we have additional staff at arkayaking.co.uk who are professional and courteous, but above all, dedicated to putting the client’s needs first. We care about our clients.

National Navigation Award Scheme

The National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) was launched in 1994 at the Royal Institute of Navigation in London, and since then over 50,000 people of all ages have gained awards. It was the inspiration of Peter Palmer.

The scheme continues to be a great success, and with over 300 registered providers of courses. Thousands of people of all ages have benefited from the skills learnt on an NNAS course.

In 2009 NNAS became a Company Limited by Guarantee, number SC320350 and a Registered Charity, number SC039201.

In late 2015, The Bronze Award was accredited by the Scottish Credit & Qualifications Framework (SCQF) at Level 4, and 2 SCQF credit points are awarded on completion

NNAS Courses are back!

Want to get out on the hills? Come to us. Were starting with a gentle Ironbridge NNAS Bronze for anyone with little map reading experience, or just want to walk in the countryside.
